Reginald Wadley has spent more than two decades in the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department, rising through operations, technical rescue, and leadership roles that demand calm judgment under pressure. In March 2024, Fire Chief John Butler announced his promotion to Deputy Chief—recognition of a career built on training, teamwork, and service to the community.
From his start as a volunteer with the Greater Springfield Fire Department in 1999 through Recruit Class 104 and assignments across the county—including technical rescue and special operations—his work has always been about people first: preparing for the worst, executing with precision, and never losing sight of why the job matters.

Our story
When COVID-19 reshaped daily life, the need for rigorous, trustworthy disinfection stopped being optional—it became part of how we protect schools, workplaces, vehicles, and homes. Reginald founded Rescue Spraying to answer that need with the same seriousness he brings to the fire service: evidence-based products, disciplined process, and respect for every space we enter. The pandemic made invisible threats feel personal—so he built a company that treats every job like it matters, because it does.
On the fireground, readiness is a habit: gear checked, team briefed, contingencies considered. That mindset carries into every Rescue Spraying visit—showing up prepared, working efficiently, and leaving your environment safer than we found it.
